Why it's useful
Karim's inventory includes about twenty tools: accounting software, messaging, video conferencing, tax sites, and URSSAF... He adds them all at once from the bulk add page, then organizes them into folders created the day before. For the production tool, he creates a launcher for each client portfolio.
A VaultysHub application is primarily a tile on your users' home page. Depending on its type, VaultysHub can then connect to it on their behalf: via SSO (lesson 6) or with a stored password (Password Manager module).
Your turn
- Quick Add. In Applications, click on Add an application and enter
https://zoom.us. Click on the result: the application is created immediately, and its Share tab opens. See Add applications. - Bulk Add. Click on Add applications, add one application by URL and another by its simple name, check the queue, and confirm.
- Locate the App Store, the catalog of ready-to-use applications, and the Import button, which adds applications from a CSV file, such as your inventory from lesson 2.
- Filter the list by Type and Provisioning. See Manage applications.
- Share with a folder. Menu ⋮, then Share and Add: choose the folder
Comptabilite. Also add your test user for direct sharing. See Share an application. - Check the result in the Users tab of the application: it lists all those who have access, either directly or via a folder.
- Remove direct sharing with Remove access.
- Create a launcher. Open the application details, go to the Launchers tab, then Add a launcher: a URL that starts with
https://and a title. See Launchers. - Track a license. Menu ⋮, then Edit and the License tab: activate the switch, enter a price, a pricing type, and a period, leave Number of users at 0, then Save. See License management.
- Check from the user side. Log in with your test user: the tile is there, and clicking it opens the menu of its launchers.
The common password by folder (Common application password) and the Orphan passwords tab concern password-protected applications. Their storage, sharing, and autofill fall under the Password Manager module.

Key takeaways
- You can add an application individually (quick add) or in bulk: by URL, by name, from the App Store, or via CSV.
- An application is only visible to those with whom it is shared: preferably via a folder.
- Launchers and licenses refine usage and cost tracking.
