The browser extension

Why it's useful
Léa no longer opens the portal except occasionally. A click on the VaultysHub icon in her browser is enough to launch her applications, even in the middle of another task.
The extension puts your applications in the browser toolbar. It is also the one that, depending on the activated modules, fills in your credentials and protects you from fake pages (next lesson).
Your turn
- Install the extension from your browser's store, using the link on the Browser extension page. Then pin it: click on the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then on the pin next to VaultysHub.
- Add your VaultysHub. On first launch, no VaultysHub is configured.
Enter the address of your organization, for example
https://mon-entreprise.link.vaultys.org, then click on Add. → Getting Started - Log in. Indicate where your VaultysID is located (on your smartphone in most cases), then scan the QR code. Your applications will appear. → Log in for the first time
- When the session expires, after 1 to 24 hours depending on your administrator's settings, click on Log in and scan again. → Log in
- Optional: multiple organizations. Open the menu at the top right, then Add a new VaultysHub. The same menu allows you to switch from one to another. → Add a VaultysHub
caution
When logging in, only accept a trust request if you just triggered it. If it appears without you having done anything, refuse it.
